Our Doctors surgery consists of a group practice of five partners. We look after around 7,500 patients who live in and around North Walsham, and 12 beds in the North Walsham Cottage Hospital. We cover each others holidays with some support from locums.
We have a branch surgery at Southrepps Village Hall on alternate Wednesdays from 10.30a.m. - appointments should be booked at the main surgery
Each doctor provides a full range of medical, maternity, contraceptive, minor surgery and child health surveillance services. All the GPs are on the minor surgery and child health surveillance lists. Patients, including new patients joining the practice, will be offered consultations for a health check as part of our programme of health promotion.
Dr Vavasour, who does one afternoon session a week in urology at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital, also performs vasectomies for patients from this and other practices once a fortnight.
We aim to provide the best Primary Health Care in Norfolk in a happy and relaxed environment.
The times below are our standard opening hours. We have a few pre-bookable routine appointments available each week on Monday evenings and Thursday mornings for patients who are unable to attend during normal surgery hours. If you would like to book an appointment during these 'extended hours' please ask a receptionist for further details.
The surgery is closed on Bank and Statutory holidays.

When the surgery is closed & you need a Doctor in an emergency, please telephone the usual surgery number & you will be automatically transfered to the Out of Hours service. They will take details of you problem & contact the duty doctor for you.
