Sunday 6th June 2010 was the first official North Walsham Fun Day.
The day took place on the North Walsham memorial park and featured four bands (Blag, Ugly Dog Skiffle Combo, Third Wheel and Big Black Cadillac), demonstrations from North Walsham Judo Club, North Walsham Belly Dancers and maypole dancing from Manor Road School pupils. Many other traditional stalls and events including dog agility, Bucking Broncho, human fruit machine, inflatable slide and refreshments added to the attractions.
A big thank you to the organisers and all those who helped out in whatever way to make the afternoon such a success and a big thankyou to everyone who turned up and supported the event.
The weather just about held out too with just a small shower later in the afternoon but I don't think North Walsham was going to let that spoil the day!
All in all a great time had by everybody.
961.13 was raised for local charities and East Anglian Air Ambulance.
